Hon Eve Obara, launched the NG-CDF Bursary disbursements totaling to 34.45M which will be awarded to students in Secondary, Tertiary & Special institutions.
Hon Eve Obara, inaugurated the newly gazetted Uwezo Fund Committee whose main mandate is to expand access to finances in promotion of youth and women businesses at the Constituency level for economic growth towards the realization of vision 2030 goals.

I attended the Kenya Human Rights Education Festival- Nyanza Region (sponsored by Amnesty International), hosted at Ober Boys Secondary School, in my Constituency. In attendance was Irungu Houghton, Country Director of Amnesty International, participating Schools, among others. I later inspected Bongu-Nyabondo-Mikai Road done by KERRA .
I inspected ongoing construction work;
a).Chabera-Kolwa(9 km)road
b).Kadongo-Osuri- Kibuon, (15km)road.
I had the privilege of hosting the 56th Madaraka Day Celebration (Homabay County Chapter) at Ringa Boys High School in Kabondo Kasipul Constituency. In attendance were Hon. Hannington Orata, Deputy Governor; Samson Macharia, Homabay County Commissoner; several CECs and Chief Officers; area MCA Hon. Joan Ogada, Chiefs, Ward Administrators, my Constituents and other Stakeholders.
I paid a courtsey call at Nyakwaka Primary School and God Agak Secondary School to follow up on concerns raised by the stakeholders on ground murram excavations.I commit to pickup this matter with the relevant authorities.
In specific,Nyakwaka Primary is in dire need of additional modern classrooms as captured in our Strategic Plan – it should be noted that once Treasury releases funds,new classrooms shall be build.

°Kadongo -Osuri – Kibuon (15km)road
